Juan Guillermo Díaz is a Colombian trumpet player with extensive experience as an orchestral and solo performer. From 2010 to 2019, he was a member of the Bogotá Philharmonic Orchestra and participated in various ensembles including the Youth Philharmonic of Colombia and the Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, where he served as principal trumpet from 2017 to 2018. His international engagements include performances with the Master Chorale of South Florida, Southwest Florida Symphony, Omaha Symphony Orchestra, Palm Beach Symphony, and the Palm Beach Brass Quintet, highlighting his versatility and professional caliber across diverse repertoires and settings.
As a soloist, Díaz has performed with the Symphony National Band of Colombia, the Cundinamarca Symphony Band, and the Tocancipá Symphony Band. He has studied under renowned trumpet pedagogues including Jordi Albert, Marc Reese, Lupercio Barbosa, Pacho Flores, and William Leathers.
