Class Rescheduling Policy
What happens if a class cannot take place due to unforeseen circumstances?
Any class affected by force majeure will be rescheduled. We request that you notify us as soon as possible regarding the cause of the cancellation. To reschedule the appointment, it will be necessary to justify the reason for the cancellation.
What is the deadline to modify class schedules?
Any modifications to the schedules, whether by the student or the teacher, must be made at least 15 days in advance. If this deadline is not met, the class cannot be rescheduled.
How are class reschedulings handled?
All class reschedulings are subject to the availability of schedules. We recommend avoiding unnecessary changes, and if rescheduling is required in a location other than Mérida, the sessions will be conducted online.

Scholarships Program
What benefits do the scholarships from the International Trumpet Research Center offer?
We offer 5 scholarships at 50%, which include the transcription of the classes received. Class transcription helps the student in understanding concepts and developing skills. The scholarship recipient is required to submit the transcription within 24 hours after the class, and at least 2 transcriptions per month.
How can I apply for scholarships on the monthly fee?
In the next step of the pre-registration form, you can apply for one of the 5 scholarships at 50% off the monthly fee for students residing in Latin America.
Active vs Auditing Student Subscription
What is included in the Active Student Subscription?
This is our full plan. Every month, it includes 4 individual sessions of 45 minutes each, 4 group sessions, personalized follow-up via messaging, access to a learning platform and support on our Discord server.
What are the benefits of joining the Discord server as an Active Student?
Our Discord server has been designed to provide the best possible support to our Active Students. By joining the program, you will get the following benefits:
- You can use the Chat channel.
- You get access to all shared resources.
- You can create threads with concrete questions in the forums, which our teaching team will attend.
- You can post questions for the next group lesson or masterclass, and they will be prioritized in the questions sections at the end of the session.
- Participate in the group lessons and masterclasses. Depending on the case, you will be able to play or pose your questions during these sessions.
What are the differences between an Active and Auditing Student Subscription?
Each subscription has been designed with different profiles in mind. Auditing Student Subscription is perfect for those who want to stay updated with trumpet pedagogy and new insights around the trumpet. They get access to everything, but they cannot interact entirely.
On the other hand, an Active Student Subscription will fit students who want to change their way of playing dramatically. That is why they will receive 4 individual lessons and total access to the group lessons and masterclasses. Besides, they are also entitled to ask questions in our Discord server.
What does it mean to be an Auditor?
As an Auditor, you will have access to all group classes and masterclasses. Though you will be able to ask questions in advanced, we cannot guarantee that we go through them during these lessons.
Additionally, you will get access to our Discord server, with the following benefits:

- You get access to all shared resources.
- You can read the questions and answers published by Active Students.
Pre-registration Process
When can I pre-register for the different periods?
For the May – August period, pre-registration will be open from February. For the September – December period, from May. And for the January – May period, from September. Once you have completed and submitted the pre-registration form, our administrative team will contact you to finalize the details of your enrollment.
Who needs to pre-register?
Only applicants for the Active Student Subscription need to pre-register. We need to do that to ensure the best learning experience to our students.
